This customer feedback is the driving force behind my R&D effort. Our products are often used as additives, not as main raw materials, and don’t catch the consumer’s eye as final products. Therefore, I believe it is important to develop high-value-added products that go beyond the characteristics required by customers.

Developing high value-added products is not an easy task. However, I believe that curious and insights gained from various daily tasks as well as serendipity are the key to developing unique products.

Our researchers lead the entire development process, from basic research to commercialization. They have a lot of responsibility, but they also have a lot of discretion and a great sense of accomplishment. I also want them to feel the joy of success, which they cannot achieve alone, through communication and cooperation with other parts of our company.

Today, we are facing a new set of crises that we have never experienced before. There are a variety of geopolitical challenges and societal changes that are influencing expectations for new technologies. Through our corporate mission, “Seeking the boundless future of polymers. We keep thinking and trying”, NEGAMI creates value through materials to provide solutions to our customers’ problems.
